Aadhaar Card Re-Print Online | Aadhaar card is an important identity document. UIDAI has launched a new service. People will be allowed to re-print Aadhaar card at reasonable cost on UIDAI website.

However this is online only by going to the official website of UIDAIv www.uidai.gov.in.

Holders who already have an Aadhaar card and have lost it due to any reason can get their Aadhaar card back with the old Aadhaar number. Holders whose mobile number is not registered or linked with Aadhaar card can also apply.

Earlier Aadhaar card could not be re-printed if lost. Now one has to download its e-version on the UIDAI website and present it as proof of identity.

 

What is the reprint fee?

According to the UIDAI website, anyone can now get their Aadhaar card re-printed by paying just Rs 50 (including GST and speed post charges). This re-printed Aadhaar card will be sent to your registered address through India Speed ​​Post within five working days. You can use your own Aadhaar number or Virtual Identification Number (VID) to re-print your Aadhaar card.

However before applying for Aadhaar re-print your mobile number should be registered in Aadhaar database. Because One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your same registered number. But if your mobile number is not registered with Aadhaar, you can apply to re-print your Aadhaar card through non-registered mobile number. However, you will not be able to preview the details.

Follow these steps to re-print Aadhaar Card:

- Go to official website of Aadhaar card uidai.gov.in.

- Click on Order Aadhaar Re-Print under Aadhaar Service.

- As soon as you do this, a new tab will open on your computer screen. You have to enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number or 16 digit ID number and security code. If your mobile number is not registered with your Aadhaar number in UIDAI's database then select the box indicating it.

- If your number is registered then click on Send OTP option. Those whose mobile number is not registered should also enter their mobile number. OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. 

-Enter the OTP and select the box with term and condition. Now click on submit button.

-Once OTP is entered you will be able to verify your Aadhaar details.

- Once Aadhaar details are verified then you have to click on make payment option. You will then be redirected directly to the payment gateway.

- You can use options like credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI etc. for payment. You have to pay only 50 rupees to get Aadhaar card re-printed. Enter the payment details and click on Pay Now.
- Once the payment is successful, an acknowledgment will appear on your screen. You can also download this acknowledgment slip. Its message will be sent to your registered mobile number. Aadhaar letter will reach the given address.

- Applicant can log on to the official website of UIDI for more information. Any kind of change in Aadhaar card can also be applied online by paying 25 rupees.
