2000 note will be discontinued?: Why not printed new notes for the last three years? Why only 500 note in ATM?

2000 note will be discontinued?: Why not printed new notes for the last three years? Why only 500 note in ATM? - Demonetisation came into effect on 8 November 2016 and the then-current Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes were discontinued. At that time, a new currency note of 2000 rupees was introduced as an alternative. Now, after so many years, discussions have started once again about the currency note of 2000 rupees, doubts are being raised that the pink note of 2000 rupees will not be discontinued somewhere. At the center of this entire scenario is BJP's own Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Modi, who while addressing the Rajya Sabha gave several reasons, saying, 'The government should now stop 2000 rupee currency notes'. Nowadays the situation is such that it has become really difficult to get 2000 notes. People are starting to look at the 2000 currency note with suspicion. So why is this happening? Is there going to be a big decision regarding the two thousand note? Understand the big hint in these 5 points.

2000 note has not been printed for 3 years

News agency IANS sought some information from the Reserve Bank of India through an RTI, in response to which it has been revealed that in the financial year 2016-2017, 2.35 billion notes were printed, compared to only 11.15 million in 2017-18. Print the note. In the financial year 2018-19, this figure kept going down and only 4 crore 66 lakh 90 thousand notes of 2000 rupees were printed. The most noteworthy thing was seen after March 2019. No new notes of Rs 2000 have been printed during the financial years 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22.

A BJP MP expressed doubts

Not only the common people, BJP MPs are also saying in the parliament that the pink note of 2000 rupees is missing. Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Modi demanded before the government in the House itself that Rs 2000 currency notes should be stopped. He also presented the rationale behind this decision, saying, the possibility of hoarding of black money increases due to the large amount of currency notes. 2000 rupee note is being used in terrorism, corruption, drug trade. Sushil Modi also gave examples of the economy of developed countries. He said, countries like America, China, Germany, Japan do not have any currency bigger than 100.

2000 notes are not available in ATMs

For a long time, people have been complaining that ATMs do not accept 2000 notes. In many ATMs, it is written on the screen that only 500 notes will be available. Due to this reason, people's doubts have increased.

The volume of fake notes increased

The statistics of finding fake notes of 2000 rupees are also quite shocking. 2000 currency notes came in the market at the end of 2016. In the same year, 2272 fake notes of 2000 rupees were seized. In the year 2017, 74 thousand 898, 54 thousand 776 in 2018, 90 thousand 566 fake notes of 2000 rupees were found in 2019. In the year 2020, this graph increased significantly and 2 lakh 44 thousand 834 fake notes of 2000 were caught.

2000 note where black money was found

Regarding demonetisation, the government had given the reason that black money would be controlled, but in the last four to five years, wherever ED and Income Tax were raided, bags full of Rs 2,000 notes were found. Sushil Modi in his speech also expressed concern about such hoarding.

BJP is considered to be a very disciplined party, so if Sushil Modi himself stands directly in the Rajya Sabha and appeals to the government to stop the 2000 note, the signs of this unusual thing can be many, because some time ago Sushil Modi gave MPs reservation in Kendriya Vidyalaya. The demand to end the quota was raised in the Parliament. Only then did the central government end this quota for all MPs of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
