Monetary order Press, Dewas is a modern unit of Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India restricted, Wholly claimed by legislature of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs, BNP was set up in 1974 to print elite great certified receipts of various sections. Monetary certificate Press, Dewas is going by the General Manager, who straightforwardly reports to the Chairman and Managing Director of Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited.

The Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited was framed after corporatization of each of the nine Security units of presses/mints which were prior working under Ministry of Finance. SPMCIL was enlisted on 13-1-2006 with its central command at Jawahar Vyapar Bhawan, New Delhi.

It is arranged on the Agra-Bombay National Highway close the well known Chamundeshwari Hillock in the town of Dewas. It is 1.5 Kms from Dewas Railway station, 35 Kms from Indore, and 35 Kms from Ujjain situated in Malwa Region of Madhya Pradesh.

This unit is occupied with printing of monetary certificates fusing higher security highlights like Intaglio/Orlof printing, miniature colors, between lock plans, see through plans, dormant picture, utilization of fluorescent and optically factor inks and so on, to obstruct imitation and fulfill the expanding needs of Reserve bank of India.

While effectively releasing the sovereign capacity allocated by the SPMCIL, Presently this unit is printing certified receipts of Rs.20/ - , Rs.100/ - and Rs.500/ - sections and is able to print monetary orders of any category. The plant and hardware for such modern security printing and handling were provided by the World chiefs M/s De La Rue Giori, including assistant supporting offices like plan, studio, plate making, Effluent Treatment Plant and so on
