As per the latest news from the metro logical department of India, The Nilofar Cyclone will be hitting the shores of Gujarat on 31st October 2014. Their were some very low pressure waves that were initiated in the Arabian sea which later turned into a storm. This Nilofor storm will be reaching Gujarat and parts of Pakistan within the next 24-48 hours. The Authorities in Gujarat have already started to take precautionary measures for the safety of the people living here. The government has also sent the team of Disaster Relief management team out there who are working day and night to ensure the safety of the residents. The Storm will be at high when the winds will be blowing at 200 km/ph and would later reduce to 100 km/ph. Just some time ago there was a similar kind of Cyclone “Hudhud” that struck various parts of Andhra Pradesh and Orissa. This time the Kutch district of Gujarat is the one which is most likely to suffer more then the other areas.

The Nilofar cyclone started on 26th October in Arabian Sea. After that the Met officials has already informed  the people regarding the cyclone. The news has been coming repeatedly after then on the various news channels so that the people may plan to evacuate the places that are most likely to get affected. The origin location of the Nilofar was just in the middle of arabian sea somewhere around 1000 km away from Mumbai and also from oman.
